I just finished using my new vacuum for the first time. I will finish vacuuming my house, only because we have a party this weekend and out of town guests. But once the weekend is over, I will NEVER use this vacuum again. Suction is good. I can't think of anything else good to say. The vacuum won't fit under anything, so I had to move nearly every piece of furniture in the one room I've done. Even then, I couldn't get anything that was near the wall. No problem, there's an attachment for that. It's 12 inches long. And the hose is tight. And short. Which means there's lots of torque on your hand and wrists as you try to reach anything beyond arm's length (which is most things since I'm only 5'1"). After a few minutes I decided to minimize the stress and pain by using my left hand to hold the hose in extension while vacuuming with my right hand. But, I had to bend over to reach the joint between wall and floor, so halfway through the room, my back was beginning to ache. And I don't recommend vacuuming with two hands. Especially with a hose that's short. And tight. The upright canister kept falling over, breaking my grandmother's antique fire place screen, and banging my feet a few times. I've not even used the vacuum on carpet yet. In fact, I've only done one room. By the time I'm finished, I'll probably have to buy another new vacuum to pick up the pieces of this one after I've thrown it out the second floor window. Did I say already that I will NEVER use this vacuum again?

Its cheap, yes, but it spits stuff out the back and it's still new. its not heavy and your hands dont touch the blegh that it does pick up. And it doesn't pick up in one pass you have to go over it a few times

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and picks up very well. Wanted something that I could carry up and down my steps. This does the trick.

Not designed by anyone who uses a vacuum, but cleans well.

I asked for a new vacuum for Christmas and got this one. Was pretty pleased that it works so well and cleans really well. I have new thick shag carpet in the family room and my other vacuum wouldn't budge on the shag. This one works pretty well on shag carpet and hardwoods too. My biggest complaint are the design issues...the handle is too short and doesn't have any kind of loop on the end so is hard to hold on to. The power button is really inconvenient halfway down the side of the vacuum cleaner, so requires constant bending for on and off. The cord comes out of the back and bottom of the vacuum and the little cord holder near the top of the handle doesn't hold the cord well, so you're always running over the cord. The design is bulky and too high and wide to get into small spaces, and finally, it's not that lightweight. My last vacuum was only 12 lbs, so this seems pretty heavy by comparison. Otherwise, it gets the job done and seems to clean well. Just wish it had a more efficient, thoughtful design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is great in my thick carpet. If you have an apartment with carpet definitely you can consider this product.
