Powerful Vacuum

Ok, my daughter just got her own place and as a house gift, I bought her this vacuum. Since there was some slight setting up, I put it together, and thought I should give it a try. Now I have a Kirby vacuum which I been using for years, and I just vacuumed with the Kirby, but wanted to see what this less expensive vacuum would actually do. I was totally amazed at what I was seeing, as the clear tank had this fine powder building up in it and also a glob (after vacuuming my whole house) fine cat hair (which the cats been gone for 1 month now). By the way.. My carpets are only 1 year old. I vacuum weekly, again, with a Kirby G7, and I was totally floored how this could be, that this inexpensive Bissell is making a Kirby look like its not doing its job. Another thing I noticed was my rugs appeared to be fluffier, which can only mean this Bissell grooms the carpet better also. I am now thinking of selling the Kirby and looking for a more professional series Bissell vacuum for myself. (saying if this mid-expense vacuum did this good, what does a more expensive Bissell have to offer)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it !! When my old Bissell died, my fault, I killed it ! I knew I had to get another Bissell. They totally understand carpet cleaning !! Growing up, my parents owned a carpet cleaning business. The key to clean carpet is getting as much fine dirt out before you use your Bissell carpet cleaner. Amazing how much fine dirt this pulls up !

This vacuum worked great - both on hardwood, carpet and area rugs. I was impressed with how much fog hair, etc it picked up. My only criticism is that it's a bit heavy. But overall, amazing product.

I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of suction power this vacuum has and how much dirt it pulled out of my carpet.The vacuum is also very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I love that it is bagless and the container empties very easily. I am 6' tall and found the handle to be a sufficient height as well which is a nice feature. Another well designed product from bissell.

I vacuum my wood and tile floors but most importantly my fine oriental carpets. The power and gentleness is essential for the fine rugs and this vacuum does a thorough job. I've only had this vacuum for a month so I can't speak for it's long term reliability but I'm loving it so far.
