I bought this product for a college dorm building floor as a community vacuum for everyone to use and so far it works great. It works best on low carpet but not as good on hard surfaces. It really gets into the edges which is perfect for small dorm rooms and the turbo tool is quite powerful. It is easy to clean; however, some stuff gets stuff at the top of the tank so you'll just have to clean that out by hand, which is not a big deal. Overall, I would definitely recommend this vacuum for small spaces and carpets.

Easy to use and picks up more than my previous Bissell did. I purchased another Bissell because the first one lasted SO long and did not require any service in all of those years. I also love that it is bagless.

Very frustrated with the hose

Overall good vacuum except for when I use the hose. The suction of the vacuum prevents the hose from stretching. If you try, the vacuum will fall over. Extremely frustrating! I use the hose attachment a lot. I would never have bought this if I knew the vacuum would constantly fall over (and sometimes hit me in the process) when using the hose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought my carpets were clean after using my Dyson but now my carpets really are clean after using this vacuum. Don't hesitate to get this vacuum it's awesome!
