Chest Freezer

I have always had a chest freezer, even as a kid. I buy beef a half steer at a time. This is the best freezer for access to get to the meat quickley. It has enough room left over for other items we keep extra of... pizza, ice cream, frozen vegatables, and other items. This particular freezer is holding up better than the other brand freezers I have owned. I keep mine in the garage, so it is not protected from the elements as well as if it were in the house. I am very happy with my Frigidaire. Thanks, K. Stouder

Excellent product

Love my new freezer. It was purchased to replace one that was 42 years old. Love the organizational dividers. Thus far, it has been working perfectly. We have it on an enclosed veranda so it can get mighty cold there during the winter. We raise our own chicken so it really meets our needs. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Basket case

Everything would be fine if the provided plastic baskets didn't keep the lid from closing properly. The handles from which the basket hangs are too thick and prevent the lid from fitting tightly. This causes rapid frost build-ups and makes the freeze work harder, so obviously more energy consumption!
The wire baskets were a lot better in that regard because of the lower profile of the handles... no improvement in my book.

Great Freezer!

We love our Frigidaire freezer! It's very quiet, and the dividers and baskets are perfect for our needs. We replaced a very old freezer, and have noticed a difference in our electric bill.
