Nice dishwasher

This has only been in use for one week. So far, so good. It is quiet (at least compared to our previous dishwasher). It cleans and drys well. Most important, the ADA height worked for our lower than standard countertops. Cons -- the normal wash cycle seems a bit long (about 2 hours with heat dry) and I find it difficult to fill the top rack (it's almost like the top rack doesn't pull out far enough). The interior seems smaller than my last dishwasher, but that has not yet been a problem for us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great dishwasher at a great price point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one does it all. The three water jet spinning bars get every dish clean. Tall tub is great for capacity although it was a tight fit during installation. I've had this model a few years and have never had a single problem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't clean dishes!

After 3 years of use it still looks brand new inside and out, but isn't getting the crumbs off everything. This should have lasted much longer :( This is the second GE dishwasher that has stopped cleaning after a very short period of time for us, I'm thinking it's time to start hand washing our dishes.

the washing dispenser empties directly onto the dishes, if it opens at all, on the bottom shelf and then gets dried on before ever getting rinsed off
had to switch to liquid detergent because the door would not open when using the pods
wish I would have returned it but it was a pain to get in so did not want to take the time to take it out

Ok performance till it leaked and broke

Our unit is only two years old and the repair man stated that not only is the pump not draining the water but the float mechanism is broken and where the float is attached to the plastic tub, there's now a hole about 1/4" in diameter. He mentioned that there's no fix for the hole so the unit is garbage! Not so great after only two years of use, GE has lost another customer!

Easy to operate

We do not understand what the the flaps are for on each side of the upper tray. Also, the dinner plate prongs do not fit easily around the plates. We do like the operation - easy and simple to operate.
