Great picture. I only use cable TV, the BluRay and a movie streaming service. I haven't taken time to learn to use all the features. Apparently the set does what I want and more. The only way to learn all the features would be to play with each feature.
Overall very happy with quality of picture and onboard speakers, but I noticed that audio drops sometimes when switching inputs, hopefully it doesn't become a big or permanent problem

Hello JoeP! Thank you for sharing this information with us, the sound output could vary depending on the source used, some units have a volume limiter which needs to be either turned OFF or increased to allow the television to work properly and control the sound as it should without variations, please try the steps available through the next link to find a solution to the issue you have described:
Great picture. Only bad things about it are: the internet takes long time to connect and the base doesn't swivel.

Hello ddl111! Thank you for sharing this feedback with us, we would like to recommend to try the steps available through the next link to improve the network connectivity with the unit:
Struggled mightily on whether or not to get a 4K UHD or not. I am so glad I went with this set. It was very affordable and the picture quality is excellent . Maybe next time on the 4K. The Satilite providers need time to catch up with the signal . This is a awesome HDTV.
this TV, the Sony 55" KDL55W700B, produces a very good picture. It has EXCELLENT black levels,w/overall great color. Minimal high-speed motion blur, provided you have the feature "motion flow" turned on (yes, it produces the oft demonized "soap opera effect" - but i like it, looks almost 3-D). Now the bad news. The whole "smart TV" aspect of this TV SUCKS!! The Netflix app works well, all the rest are slow and prone to locking up, most especially the Youtube app. The TV itself has locked up on me 4-5 times (had it around 6 months), i've also turned it on only to find all the apps have disappeared!! and i had to do a factory reset, twice(which is just ridiculously hard), and multiple hard reboots(unplug for 10 min, press power button on back of TV, plug back in and turn back on). too much hassle, Sony! And don't even bother using the built in web browser- it is so laggy, i mean brain damaged slowness, as to be useless. In short, if smart TV apps are important to you, drop $100 or so and get yourself an Android Box. But the picture quality is SWEET. and isn't that what a TV is mostly about?

Hello TVfan888! Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we would like to recommend to try the steps available through the following link to improve the network connectivity with the applications:
Apps that are included with this smart TV do not work. Specifically Netflix which this TV has a button on the remote for netflix. This would make me think that this app would work the best on this TV and it DOESNT. We have to try 3-4 times to get into the app, then when we do it will close the entire program and bring us back to regular TV. We try this 3-4 times as well and then give up and go to our Roku. Never had a problem with Netflix on the Roku
