nice, but a let down on apps and widgets
on April 7, 2011

This is a slick, stylish phone that works excellent for those who are making a switch to a touchscreen phone. I'm greatly disappointed with the widgets on the phone, they are not very useful and are not much to brag about. The apps available for this phone are an even greater let down because MANY favorites are still unavailable. I look forward to the time they are available so we may fully enjoy the quality of this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: unavailable apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far, so good with this one, my first touch screen phone. The design and features are awesome. I'm having a little trouble easily navigating to messaging and calling contacts, seems like there's one step too many sometimes. I also expect this will improve as I get more familiar with the new phone
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, possibly more to come
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this phone and so far it is working well. I am not used to all the apps on it though. I wish it had a manual that came with it. It is interesting playing with it for the first time.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: no sliding keyboard
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice phone, problematic software
on April 25, 2011

The title says it all. The phone handles very nicely and fits quite comfortably in a pocket thanks to its light weight. The touchscreen controls have become virtually instinctive after just a few days. That's the "good." The not-so-good is that the downloaded PC software doesn't connect, although the separate usb driver from this site does quite well for manual uploading and downloading music and photos to the add-in memory card. It may just be me, but as of four days, that's my response. Would I choose this again without a data plan? Yes. With a data plan? Probably since I'd mostly use the email feature. It's a nice little phone that's about as unobtrusive until needed as one might find. If the PC Studio software worked it'd carry five stars for what it is.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: downloaded software doesn't connect
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't wait to get a different phone...

I might go as far as saying I hate this phone.
1) You can't change the buttons on the first menu screen. I don't want to, nor will I ever use TV, AT&T Social Network, YPMobile, IM, or Family Map, but I am required to leave them on my main page.
2) Due to the inability to adjust how my menus look, I have to go to page 3 to find tools and settings for the phone.
3) There are 4 map/navigation apps within the first 2 pages of my menu. I don't need 4 different map/navigation apps, I need one, and would prefer it be one I like to use, not the 4 they chose for me and won't let me change or remove.
4) The screen is either overly sensitive or doesn't respond when I'm trying to move things on my home screens.
5) Several of the things I want to change are buried deeply within menus.
Overall, I can't wait to get a new phone. I miss my LG.
Pros: Lightweight, loud ringer
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, can't move icons on menu
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

All I can say is this phone does not pick up signal very well in rural areas and the speaker works louder on the ringtones then when you really need to use it for its intended purpose to make a phone call. Also I had a flip phone which was made by a company that started with M that was far superior.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, speaker not loud enough
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Emergency calls only
on July 3, 2011
Posted by: hatemyphone1966
Cell phone goes to emergencey calls only too often! To make phone make calls again you must take out battery and put back in. You do not need to wait any length of time just in and out and restart phone and then you can make calls again. Also no speed dial.
