My only dislike with the Samsung Eternity II is the speakerphone feature. On my previous phone, I was able to set it to speakerphone & it would remain on speaker until I changed it. On this phone, the speaker is only available DURING a call & you must activate it during each & every call. I try not to use my phone while driving, but on occasion have received phone calls that I must answer & having the speaker already activated so that when I answered with my "push any key" feature, I could simply speak with the phone lying on the console instead of holding it to my ear.
Cons: can't set speaker to "on" except during a call
I would recommend this to a friend!

Firstly, the eternity 2 offers excellent phone service. It is very easy to receive calls as well as dialing out. If you miss a call, home screen lets you know how many missed calls, voice mails, msgs etc... Secondly, Samsung has done a wonderful job of providing preloaded apps. Everything from att music, games, and even tv. Another great feature is how it interfaces with ones computer. One is not only able to sync to a pc but transfer files from pc to phone. The touch screen is fantastic as well. The ability to access/search the address book can be very handy. The more I explore my phone the more phone capabilities I find. Lastly, I thiink this phone will serve my needs for a very long time. Samsung you have produced a very good phone but you have developed a quality piece of technology.
This phone does not work most of the time. There have been many times that I do not receive test messages or calls. My family and friends will tell me that they have called and or text messages. and I do not answer. The reason for that is because I am not getting the calls nor the text messages. The majority of the time it directs them immediately to voicemail in which I do not even get those messages. It is really frustrating.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I mainly use for voice and occasional text, but the ease of use and the size of the text keys is a major +. Easy to block unwanted callers, Easy to edit information on phone numbers.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Meh

It's alright. I love some of the features on the phone but my biggest problem with it comes from texting with it. A) It likes to put squares after some words that I type using T9. B) It freezes every other day and I have to restart my phone mid-text. C) Sometimes it will shutdown all together while i'm writing a text.
If it weren't for these annoyances, I'd be content with this phone. But for now I say Meh.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Samsung Eternity II! I have used Samsung, and only Samsung, for several years because of the durability and reliability they give. This is my first touchscreen phone, and when I can't find it, it's usually with my granddaughter. We love the cool features and apps and spend a lot of time playing games or on the net through the phone. No matter who my carrier is, my phone is Samsung!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

many useful features. Some really annoying problems. Touch screen only texting is not easy to use compared to keys you can feel. Not as accurate. No way to back up without erasing other than touching screen between letters on small screen(not easy at all to do.) Sometimes when unlocking, a new msg shows up sometimes u have to open inbox to retreive it. Thought I'd get used to it, but it is just not real well designed. I texted faster on a t9 numeric set of keys a year ago.
Pros: Lightweight, less lockups than prev. phone, like multiple screens
