Electrolux products overrated

I purchased this over the range microwave, an electric cooktop, and double oven for a kitchen remodel. All products seem a little cheap for the price paid. For the price, the inside of the microwave should have been stainless steel as well. The fan on the microwave is very loud, even on low, not to mention that the fan blows upwards and steam gets all over the front of the doors of the brand new expensive cherry cabinets. Poor design. Also, the light gets so hot that the inside of the microwave becomes very hot. The way to set the power level is inconvenient. I will not buy any Electrolux products again.

Loud & Glass is Foggy

I purchased this microwave around the same time as another family member. We both have issues with the glass being "foggy". We were told that it is a factory issue and there is nothing that can be done about it. Or the glass can be removed and the inside cleaned for a fee. It looks terrible.
Fan is extremely loud as well.

Amazing

I have only had this product for a few months but I have had no issues at all. Also, I don't find the fan loud, I have had other microwaves with loader fans. Not sure if the other uses have used quieter fans, but I don't find this an issue. I also like the fact that I can set the microwave and use the timer at the same time. Inside is very spacious, can't think of anything negative

Uneven cooking

I've had my Electrolux for a year, and it cooks very unevenly. It also cooks too hot, even though I use a lesser power level. I've always used a microwave for cooking, not just warming up foods, and I have a difficult time finding the correct power level for cooking anything.

never worked

Our over the range microwave oven was installed 3/11/11 and never worked or it would not heat. We took it to be fixed the first time, got it back, heated a cup of coffee and then it quit heating again. We've taken it back the second time to be fixed.

Electrolux Kitchen Remodel

We did a complete kitchen remodel and the Electrolux Induction Stove was a must for the kitchen. We decided to do the complete kitchen with Electrolux products...boy was that a mistake!! We love our induction stove and we haven't had any problems with it or our double oven wall unit. But the remainder of the kitchen appliances are a nightmare! The microwave oven has already been replaced for not working correctly and we had a empty spot in the kitchen where it belonged for months until they replaced it. We even bought a cheap counter top model while waiting since it took so long to get the replacement. Same thing happened with our trash compactor, in which we put a plastic trash can in the empty hole, while waiting for it's replacement. It was embarrassing explaining to people the missing appliances when we had company, especially when they were installed in late-October and already missing by Christmas!!. We called the company and the customer service department wasn't supportive our our problems with their products. We were furious when the power in our home went out and our back up generator kicked on, but the refrigerator didn't come back on because it was programmed not to...we were told it's programmed this way to protect it's electronics. So our food spoils, this is a feature that would have stopped me from buying this unit...while on vacation, with unit on vacation mode, we have come home to the unit being off and all the food gone bad!!! We are not happy Electrolux owners and we would not recommend them to anyone!!!

Very poor quality for the price or any price. Brittle plastic breaks within three months. This has occurred on three microwaves and four replacement trim pieces. Would not recommend to anyone.
