OK, but with some annoying design flaws

The Good: Pretty clear image. Nice size for desktop use.
Thin and lightweight. Has standard screwholes on the back for bracket mounting. Matt screen surface is pretty good at not reflecting. Working without a hitch for 7 months now. Color seems good enough for me. Text mode lowers contrast for reading and is useful. Build quality is good for the price. No speakers which is a good thing.

The Expected: Same pixel count spread over a larger area means a slightly grainy image. Not easily read with all typefaces. Some bleed over.
The Poor: The white LED on light is very bright. Although it can be turned off in the settings, it comes back on when the computer times out the monitor.
And it blinks, so not good if you use it in a bedroom.
No setting for this. Settings menu is a clumsy design.
Impossible to read the labels so why bother?
All my complaints are around the lower right of the monitor. If LG rework the on light and settings they would have a real winner.

LG 27MP33HQ IPS LED monitor

Picture quality is very good, no adjustments were needed. There are only 2 inputs, no DVI-D input as found on other monitors in this quality range. The button logos are unreadable (grey on black) and the switches are on the bottom surface. When pressed, the whole monitor moves as the stand is not sturdy. These are relatively minor unless you are always changing the settings. I use it for simulation gaming and general computing.
Pros: Performance, Quality

This is the best monitor I've ever used.

It was simple to hook up and install. The clarity is fabulous and its size is perfect for split screen viewing. It switches back & forth from input sources easily. The speaker jack helps simplify wiring.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Easy setup and works well

For the money this has been a good monitor. The only issue I had with it was the menu for adjustments could be a little clearer. I've had the monitor for about 3 months and have had no issues.

Excellent all-over monitor

Everything looks just right: text, web pages, streaming media, full-screen movies. I didn't need to do any tweaking, just used default settings.
Sleep-wake function seems a bit off and works differently depending on whether you use HDMI, VGA or both. 2 or more HDMI ports would be nice.

Good Monitor

I bought this looking to upgrade from a previous 21.5" monitor. This was the cheapest decent IPS monitor in this size and price range.
The difference was between night and day compared to my old monitor. Out of the box this looked great for me. If you do require adjustments it does have a fair number of settings for changing the colors and similar to your liking.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

Top Heavy Mess

It does not feel stable at all. There is no built in speaker which I didn't know I needed until I needed it. Overall feel is like it can break at any minute. Performs well but not worth it compared to other better quality monitors for less.
