I only bought this to get the Hulu App. As soon as I connected internet to player, the Hulu App was deleted from player.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my kid's room so he could watch DVD/Bluray movies and stream kid shows & movies on Netflix. It works. Unfortunately you cannot add/remove the other pre-installed Premium Channel apps. There is also no parental settings to restrict content, has to be done from the streaming account, which the kid can simply switch profiles to access the main account with no restrictions. Solution: Remove WiFi password form device. Overall, you get what yo pay for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product never worked properly. Netflix never launched properly and Amazon prime Worked intermittently! This unit would lock up repeatedly; I wouldn’t recommend this model to my worst enemy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a LG TV & wanted the same brand of Blue Ray Streaming player as I Do Like the LG Brand. I have not been pleased with it as it looses streaming connection almost Every Time I use it & it is Not my WiFi that is a few feet away. It plays videos fine but I got it for the streaming & would not be confident to recommend.
