Don't waste your money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this a week a go to connect to a second TV. The idea was to not to have to get another fire stick and still need a disc player. All in one unit right. Don't waste your money!!!! It's slow and will not load Prime Video half the time. Very dissatisfied . The only reason I gave 2 stars is the disc player plays good.

Sadly Outdated

We bought two of these devices. Now after a month of struggling with using Amazon Prime, we can only get part way through a movie before the Bluray player dumps us off, and we need to relaunch. This occurs on both units.
LG now wants use to send in for service, but the Updates, date back to 2016 - Why isn't there something more current? Why do they only work on 2,4GHz wifi?
Why is there nothing newer available?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was with much trepidation we purchased this smart DVD player for our older flat screen tv and held our breath and began the set up. Very easy, even I could follow it. We are now Streaming!

It's a crap player, the second one I've bought sadly because it's all the store had. Will not be purchasing LG products at all. It just decided to stop working. It won't play new discs, dvd or blue ray. I got maybe a few months out of it each time. I cannot stress this enough do not buy this product. It will break on you right away. I have to pick recommendation for the review because all other options are straight up dishonest
