Impressive!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my portable NP8350B wireless speaker to add to my Music Flow system. The initial setup was very easy using the LG app and my iPhone. Don't let the size of this speaker fool you, as the sound is extremely impressive for such a small unit! I love the fact this speaker offers a dual band wifi or bluetooth connection which allows you to either connect this speaker via wifi to your Music Flow system, or use bluetooth to connect it to your smart device. I also comes with a built in rechargeable battery which offers the user versatility.
The verdict and for the price; The LG NP8350B is great little wireless speaker and a handy addition to the Music Flow line-up. Although it's portable, the build quality is very good and the speaker has a nice solid feel. The design is attractive, with minimal controls or connections to spoil its clean lines and the built-in battery can last up to six hours. The speaker includes dual band WiFi for connecting to your smart device or bluetooth when you are out of wifi range.
I would definitely recommend this speaker!
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Google Cast Audio

I'm happy that I can "cast" music to the speaker from my phone, and I don't have to be wired, or be limited by the bluetooth range. The speaker sounds fine for a small speaker, and it being portable is convenient. My wife is able to figure out how to cast music to it (same as how we cast movies and music to the Chromecast), so thats a big plus.
I do have a share of frustrations with this product though. Compared to a normal speaker that is always ready, this speaker sometimes reboots, or is not yet ready. It takes about 60 seconds to turn it on, to where I can cast music to it. Once casting I'm happy with the speaker, however, sometimes music playback just stops. Google Play Music might play 2 songs, and then not continue playing, and I'll have to touch my phone to play the next track (playing a whole album, or radio station). I then plugged an aux audio cable in, and the radio played for hours, until I unplugged the aux cable. The radio seems to playback better the closer it is to my wifi router, but further from the router, the pause between tracks, when casting becomes longer, even though my phone, on the same wifi network appears to be fine. I don't feel as though I've ever gotten close to 20 hours of usage via battery. The speaker is more likely to shut off or reboot first.
So, my expectations for this speaker would be that it performs as well as a traditional speaker, where instead of having to run an aux cable, it just works via casting. But, instead its a series of minor gripes that involve extra effort. So, its an internet-connected-device, hopefully LG can deliver some upgrades to the speaker? I've noticed that LG has different versions of these speakers that have an Ethernet network connection, and require to be always plugged in. That might improve reliability.
The mesh-network, where multiple LG speakers can magically group together sounds cool, but until one speaker on its own becomes rock solid, I'll hold off on buying more of these.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not True Chromecast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this speaker to go with two other "Chromcast Audio" driven systems. Having a portable unit would really complete my multi speaker setup. Unfortunately this speaker can not be grouped with the other Chromecast speakers via the Android "Chromecast" App. Very disappointing, hopefully an update will solve this issue.
Apart from that the sound is good for the size of the unit and the build quality is excellent.
