This tv is awesome. The detail is amazing. Everyone in our family recommends it. The voice activated remote is a fun feature!!
Pros: picture quality
Cons: it was expensive

The poorly designed Smart remote drags this down bad !

For such a great TV, I can't imagine why Samsung would force you to use such a poorly designed remote. It was not designed for use with adult human hands, the buttons are too small and in the wrong positions. It takes 2 hands to use this remote, and there is NO other remote available for this TV. There is an app from Samsung but................. it doesn't work either. Had I known ahead of time that this remote would be such a pain, and with no other options, I would have never bought this TV. That's too bad, because I have had a lot good experiences with Samsung products in the past, but they really dropped the ball on this one. They took an awesome TV and crippled it with such a agrivating remote and an app that is worthless.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poorly designed remote, unusable app that is supposed to replace remote
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this TV. Exactly what I wanted in a TV. The remote pointer function took a minute to get used to but after a while I have found it very efficient. Smart TV is a very apt description of this TV. The universal remote function of the remote is a little quirky but setup is easy. unfortunately once the universal function is setup - you cant "undo" it without resetting all default settings. There are times when I want to turn up the volume on just the TV or just the A/V system but not both and there seems to be no way to do that.
Otherwise great TV!!!
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, smart apps

First 4K Television

This is my first 4K television, and overall I have been pleased with it. I really enjoy the picture and the speed of the smart apps. The sound is good for an LED TV. It is being used in a bedroom. For a larger room, I would probably use a sound bar or home theater receiver. The stand seems barely adequate for a TV of this size. Luckily mine sits high on a dresser out of the reach of little hands. If it was somewhere my children could touch, I would probably use a wall mount. The default picture settings did not work well for me or my wife. I didn't like the way the fast motion looked, and my wife thought the image was unnatural. I ended turning off digital clean view, mpeg noise filter, film mode, auto motion plus, dynamic contrast, black tone, and motion lighting. I used the standard color tone. We are both happy now. One of the reasons I purchased this particular model was for the smart remote control. I wish it had a DVR button, color buttons, and was backlit. The voice recognition does not work anywhere near as well other products I have. I also tried the Smart View 2 app, and it was a disappointment. You have to turn the TV on before you can even use it. I was hoping for an app that would allow me to use a more full function remote with my phone or tablet, including turning the TV on and off. I wish I had the ability to turn off the standby light on this TV. When I turn the TV on, I don't need a bunch of icons showing up on the bottom of the screen. When using the smart hub button on the remote, I wish I could customize it to just show my favorites, not recently used. Overall, this TV provides a great picture with good contrast and color uniformity. There is definitely room for improvement on user functionality, but maybe these features are available in the higher end models.

Only draw back us the audio out is with mini plug out. And digital audio out. Other than that, it is an awesome buy and TV

This TV has amazing picture quality, I got this TV on sale at Best Buy. Best purchase I've made. I hate that there isn't Bluetooth feature, its kind of stupid because its 2015 and this TV was manufactured in 2015.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: no bluetooh feature

This tv makes it look as though you are setting on the other side of the camera. One of the best pictures I have ever seen.
