[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I fell in love with about this product was the lightweight design in comparison to other hand mixers I had used in the past, the second feature I fell in love with was the professional style mixer attachments. The overall ease of use and design of this product is great. The Dishwasher safe attachments make life as a mom of 4 a little easier when it comes to clean-up and that is a big plus in my book! This product will be something I continue to use when I bake and cook. It's design and overall lightweight features made my baking and cooking a lot easier and a more enjoyable experience. This product overall is something I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new hand mixer. The Black and Decker brand itself is also a brand I would recommend to anyone I know. My kid's and I were thrilled to receive this product, because cooking and baking is something we all enjoy doing together. We give this product a huge thumbs-up!

Powerful!

Lots of power for a small machine. Could use improvement on release button re:beaters -
maybe it's because the mixer is new, but have to push down really, really hard to release the beaters. However, It makes making mashed potatoes VERY easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to bake, and I needed something that would hold up for a long time. I received this about 8 or so days s ago. It works just like it did on the first day that I used it. It has different speeds but it is so powerful I do not think that I have even had to go beyond the second-speed setting. It's not crazy powerful to where my daughters' cannot help, but just powerful enough that it gets the job done without knocking them on their behind when they are trying to "help". Everything about this Hamilton Beach 6 Speed Mixer is absolute perfection. The chrome color makes it look sleek and modern. Even the case is legit. It works great! I have not had any issues with this mixer. It handles everything with ease. From potatoes to the dough it works great! The best feature is the bowl rest indention. It has to be the best invention since sliced bread. I used to have to set the mixer on the counter and hope that it didn't drip everywhere. Not with this mixer! You can just place it on the edge of the bowl and it stays in place! I have noticed that my kitchen isn't as messy as it previously was with my other mixer that will not be named since it quit on me in the middle of mixing the ingredients for cheesecake! I had to hand mix it after it died! I felt like I was living in the dark ages! Getting back on track. Get this mixer. It is wonderful.

Great Little Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little mixer. I love the slower start.. This is where i had a lot of problems using my older mixer. You stick the mixer in the cake batter.... and BOOM you have cake batter all over the house because it would start so fast.... This mixer starts slower and keeps that from happening. 6 different speeds. It has dishwasher safe attachments and comes with not only the beaters but also whisk. This makes things so much more easy for clean up. I love the fact that i can put the attachments in the dishwasher and they will come out just like they went in.
