I love waking up before class and making this on the go. It is such a classic choice. I usually add cream and sugar, but even alone it still has a great taste and that wonderful coffee smell. I recommend this to any and everyone.

Got a box of k-cups from the store and wasn't dissappointed. Mild flavor when you not feeling bold. Great taste and I used to drink the instant. Give it a try and you'll like it too.

good simple cup

this is a great cup if you need a fresh coffee smell to get you going in the morning. i like it because i can add my favorite cream without changing the flavor to much. always reminds me of my moms fresh pot of coffee

Disappointing Flavor

Reading the reviews, I decided to give this whirl via the Carafe. I was sorely disappointed with the flavor and aftertaste of the coffee. It reminded me of a cup of coffee you would get from some back roads gas station / mini mart at 2 am.
Pros: None
Cons: Bad aftertaste, Has A "cheap" Taste To It

Didn't blow my socks off

This was the first K-Carafe I brewed with the K500. I used the 3-4 cup size. The coffee tasted somewhat watered down and the taste was flat and uninteresting. Why 3 stars rather than 2? Here's why: I will try again on the 2-3 cup size next time and I won't use the timer option. I wonder if a punctured k-carafe cup loses freshness and flavor when it sits overnight prior to brewing. Also, the coffee was brewed at 6:30, sat in the non-insulated carafe that comes with the 2.0 and I drank it 45 minutes later. I added 1 star due to these factors. I will probably end up brewing this k-carafe cup on a 14 or 16 oz setting (strong, of course) and see what happens.

Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Roasted Too Light
