Definitely an essential for any kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Farberware Dishwasher Safe High Performance Nonstick 12-Inch Covered Deep Skillet has a unique dimply design on the bottom which I was confused by at first but it truly allows food to cook evenly and faster (chicken breasts cooked FULLY within minutes). I never put my pans in the dishwasher but as indicated on the package I thought I would test it out and to my amazement a skillet that can be placed in the oven at high heat and the easiest cleanup available " the Dishwasher"!! The new non stick material that its made out of is the next best thing in cookware for sure. The Farberware Dishwasher Safe High Performance Nonstick 12-Inch Covered Deep Skillet, Black did not acheive the 5 stars that I originally intended on rating since this morning the plastic center to the lid completely broke and it was disappointing. Was it due to the dishwasher or the oven use.. who knows?!?! it clearly wasnt from the age since Ive only had it for a week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the weight and feel of this skillet - other that I've had are always too light. This sits on my stove and holds everything I want to cook! I would definitely buy the Farberware Dishwasher Safe High Performance Nonstick 12-Inch Covered Deep Skillet - I love that I can put it in the dishwasher and the oven, so it is very versatile. I did not know about this skillet before participating in this program, but of course I know the brand name and this skillet definitely matched up to the reputation of the Farberware brand, I will definitely recommend this skillet! I love using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had heard of Farberware before sampling the Farberware Dishwasher Safe High Performance Nonstick 12-Inch Covered Deep Skillet in black. I am always leary when a product says nonstick, however, great job farberware on making an excellent product. I look forward to replacing each of my cookware with more products in this line. I am recommendin to family members as well as other moms I'm the play groups my daughter is part of. Excellent, effective, easy clean up. I have not yet used in the oven but after the way it cooked evenly, and cleaned up quickly I am confident in its performance.

I love it but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this skillet. It has a great weight, a sturdy handle, and a high quality nonstick surface. The only thing wrong with it is that it's missing a vent hole in the lid. Other than that, it's my new favorite pan.

I love this frying pan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves fried potatoes, hash and things like that. I always hated cooking them because no matter what I tried, something would stick. I made hash the first night I got this pan and I almost couldn't keep it in the pan! The little convex dimples on the bottom didn't let anything stick, and it just slid right out into the serving dish. Perfectly crispy hash for the first time! The only thing I didn't like was the pinging noise the lid makes as its cooling down. Didn't think it was going to break, but it made me nervous.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i use this skillet everyday, whether frying meat or sauteeing vegetables. it does not stick, heats evenly and cleans up easily. the cover prevents any splatters and makes cooking a breeze. i did not know if i was given this skillet to use how much Farberware products such as this skillet were thoroughly, and most accurately reffered to as high performance. i truly love this skillet and recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone--it is quality incarnate.

Perfect for large meals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is perfect for a fried rice dish that my family makes. There are seven of us and it is hard to find a non stick deep pan that is deep enough to handle meals for us without spilling over. I have washed this pan on the bottom rack of the dishwasher several times and have not had any issues so far. The heat distributes evenly and cooks thoroughl. The pan seems to be great quality and is holding up well. I do not have any signs of were and tear.

Can you fall in love with a skillet?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how big this skillet is. It's great for cooking large quantities of food -- which is great for me because even though I only cook for one, I like to cook a lot of food at once to last me a few meals. It just seems like a step up from the other cookware I have, in the way it looks (it's a really sleek, pretty skillet!) and the way it feels (very sturdy). Before this program, I wasn't aware of the difference in the quality of cookware from different brands and price points -- I just used whatever was handed down to me for college and have been using that stuff ever since. I would definitely love to buy a set of this cookware for my mom, who cooks all the time but is still using the same pots/pans from like 20 years ago!
