While this pan is of good quality, it falls very short of the Circulon pan that it replaced. The old one had a nice, thick handle that was easy to hold onto. While it cooks with the same ease and efficiency as my old one, this handle is very uncomfortable, even measured against my newer pots. Since the pan is large, and heavy when full, the thin handle with skimpy padding makes it very difficult to lift and empty. All in all, while it is still a quality pan, this one is not for me.
A couple of years ago I started investing in Circulon cookware and I just keep adding pieces. After two years they haven't stained and I use plastic or wooden utensils in them so the cooking surface is like new...and the bottoms haven't bowed at all so you get a great uniform cooking surface. Excellent cookware and at reasonable prices....I just can't refuse.
I've been using a set of circulon skillets and pots for over 25yrs. I prefer circulon because I believe the grooved base prevents warping, which has proven to be true. I recently received a replacement skillet and find this to still be the case.
