Water dispenser doesn't work

This refrigerator has been a mixed bag for me. I measured ahead of time and it fits in my kitchen, but the clearance on the left side is too small for the freezer door to open fully, and the ice tray cannot be removed as a result. I had gotten used to that, but then the water dispenser stopped working. Apparently this is a common issue due to a design flaw which causes the water line to freeze. Not

Worst fridge ever. Heater element keeps blowing out and be replaced year after year. You will know when frost build up on the interior panel causing the fridge not to cool.

OMG! Terrible!

First, I must admit I bought all new GE appliances. This refrigerator has been fine overall. But the little things that don't work well or at all! The water dispenser stopped working 6 months after installed. Someone came out and fixed it and 3 months later it stopped working again! Still doesn't work and hasn't for years. Ice maker works fine, but almost every time using the door to access ice it jams and open the door to investigate you have of ice fall the minute you open the door. It works overall but the little things and the accessibility, shelfing and door access leaves little to be desired.

I have battled tith this refrigerator for years. The same as others. Frozen water dispenser hose, multiple defrost heater elements. It is leaving today....will not be purchasing anothe GE refrigerator.

There is a known problem with this product where the control fan goes bad and then the evaporator fan goes nuts and the refrigerator just whines and whines.
GE should have been forced to do a recall of this lousy product

This luxury item keeps all my food cold and even crushes ice. I would like to buy a new side door compartment and a new shelf though- can you help me? When I moved in to the house that has this fridge it was missing one of each.

Lousy water dispenser

Water dispenser freezes a couple times a week so I have to use a hair dryer inside the freezer door for 10 minuets in the morning to get the water to dispense.
