Good performing cooktop, several nice features

I purchased this cooktop to replace an older (20yr) GE cooktop. I wanted a drop in cooktop of the same dimensions so I wouldn't have to replace the countertop and also the same electrical requirements of 40 amp circuit breakers. I had an electrician do the hook up and glad I did because he found some wiring problems in the junction box. The cooktop performs very well so far has some very nice features and looks sharp.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently bought this at the suggestion of my interior designer. She suggested the GE Profile because it is well made and is priced right. I love the features, especially the Warm option (which worked great to keep the cheese sauce warm while waiting for pasta to cook) and the Power Boil option for bringing water to a quick boil. The Melt option will be used a lot. I don't have young children but if I did, I would use the Lock option. The cooktop cleans up so easily. The black glass with stainless steel trim is a beautiful addition to the kitchen area.

We replaced our old GE Profile with this new one. What an upgrade. Very nice improvements. The Power boil, and Multiple size burners are features that we really like.

Builder installed GE Appliances and so glad he did. Old house had a gas stove top and oven. Cleaning it was a chore. This flat top is easy. Spills wipe up.

I bought this to replace an older GE Cooktop that was installed in 1985. The old one was 31 years old and still working. It was just time for an upgrade.
