Although the size of this unit was 1/2" smaller than the original cutout, it was easily remedied with a few scrap pieces of lumber, screws and brackets. If you are in any way a handy man, you can install this cooktop yourself. We did in just a few hours. Also, the elements heat up quickly and are much better than what I replaced.

Easy to clean, its a pleasure
The last one which I had was the older model which I bought 5 yrs ago and died and because of COVID did not want to repair

The glass of the cooktop get dirty very easily and it's very hard to clean. It takes so much time to clean it and still can't take away the dirtiness and bubbles built around the cooking surfaces. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
