good use of space

Bought this model of French door refrig and this brand as it's one of the few that didn't have a huge meat/cheese storage unit where you had to open both doors to get into it. This one has a smaller drawer called a snack drawer that works the same way, but is versatile as it can be moved to just one side, so only one door has to open. Hopefully I'll remember what side I put it on... Also the doors are not nearly as heavy and hard to open as the last Amana bottom freezer we had. They still hold a lot of food items and if I can remember what's where I only have to open one of them.

We had to rush to get a new refrigerator because ours died. In the appliance store I was unsure if the freezer and fridge would be big enough for us, but after shopping to restock everything I'm amazed at how much this holds. I really thought the freezer was small until I started loading things into it. I thought I might have to dig through the basket to find things, but a little organization makes it pretty easy! The doors have HUGE bins that you can fit a lot of things in and the space in the fridge is wonderful. I really like that the doors extend above the fridge which I love because my husband likes to store things up there and now I don't have to see them! A great appliance I'd recommend.

I love my french door bottom freezer refrigerator!

I bought this refrigerator a year ago and I am very happy with it. The quality is excellent, the interior is very sturdily built, the motor is very quiet, the look is elegant and modern in stainless. The deli drawer holds the cheeses I always have on hand and lunch meat. The doors have very sturdy bins that hold milk cartons, 2 liter bottles, gallon pitchers and lots of small stuff. Really keeps clutter down. There is even storage area under the deli drawer. The veggie drawers hold a huge amount of veggies and fruit. I was worried there wouldn't be enough storage but there is quite a lot.
Also, I was very surprised how easy it is to keep clean, a little soapy dishwater on a well wrung out microfiber cloth cleans the stainless and the interior. Wipe the stainless with a dry microfiber cloth after cleaning. So easy. Microfiber seems key to prevent streaking.

A real lemon

This unit is a major disappointment. The compressor had to be replaced after just two years (of course past warranty) and now some 3 years later it’s dead again. I give it 1 star because there’s no option to give it 0 stars.

Consistent temperatures

The temperature in the refrigerator and freezer stay consistent, the unit is very quiet. The way the shelves and drawers are setup makes for alot of room and storage.

Good size

We are very happy with our new GE refrigerator. To us the biggest advantage is its size. It's bigger than we have had. But it is also very nice to be able to adjust the shelves so easily. Those in the doors are big enough to hold gallon milk jugs. Those in the interior let us configure a variety of shelf heights very easily. The appearance is good. It seems to operate more efficiently than our old one.
