I purchased the refrigerator for the look to go with my kitchen. It set off a clean look and have you eating more healthy with the difference department for lunch meat and keeping fruit and vegetables fresh.

Poor repair service

The fan made too much noise in the middle speed. I am more unhappy with A&E Repair than with GE. A window of 8 till 5 is totally unacceptable! A part had to be ordered and came here within a few days but the repairman could not get back to us for 2 weeks. Then he installed the fan incorrectly and a much louder noise started an hour after his departure. I called A&E at 4:30 but the woman said she isn't allowed to call the repairman back at that hour. The noise stopped after 45 minutes. The repairman called me the next day and said he can't return if it isn't making noise. Dave's Repair came out after Macon Appliance contacted GE for me. He gave me an acceptable 2 hour window for arrival. He realized the freezer wasn't working and food had begun to thaw. Thankfully he was able to make the repair correctly. I won't do business with A&E Repair again.

I bought this 2 months ago. I like the automatice ice-maker and the cold water dispenser with filter. There are multiple places to store food. The appearance is great, I have the stainless steel. When the ice-maker makes ice, there is sound of the ice being deposited into a bin, you'll get used to it. The refrigerator is very good, I like it and I recommend it.

Keeps food cold and fresh!

This product came with our home as an upgraded kitchen purchase in our new build. Did not have an option. Overall, works fine and does what it is supposed do. Only issue is that the recommended settings tend to be too cold and either over freeze stuff or make the fridge products go bad faster. Having to figure out general settings is slightly annoying.
