I chose GE because we had a good experience with GE Profile side by side for more than 17 years. However, our new refrigerator has less quality and capacity and has fewer features.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've bought only GE small appliances for their durability and look. This refrigerator impressed us! The interior design was created with space in mind, the ability to customize the height of the shelves on the door is something that is very useful. The refrigerator keeps the temperature very stable. The exterior look is definitely a head turner and our guests always compliment the look. It is easy to clean. The control are easy to use and the owners manual is very easy to understand and provides a wealth of information about how to use the appliance

Doesn't keep items at desired temperature

This unit does not circulate the cold air effectively on the upper shelves. Unit is set at coldest setting, but there is a noticeable temperature difference.
