I was a little hesitant about getting a windows phone, but i runs great i just wish that the voice assistant didnt use so much data but its a good phone without it.
The Samsung focus presents a great value who is just looking into the Windows Phone OS. It supports up to the latest Windows Phone OS 7.8. The Camera quality is decent but most photos do appear washed out. The built in flash helps to take photos in low light situations. So far the phone is built quite sturdy.
The Screen has great colors but it is not a Super AMOLED screen so it is difficult to see it in bright sunlight out side. It does not support LTE only Edge + The screen is also on the small size.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: screen hard to see in bright sunlight, no lte

Don't Love It, but overall ok

This is my first smartphone, and there area a lot of good features on this phone. I don't think it's as user friendly as other smartphones (at least from observation), but I've figured out how to do most of what I need and like some of the features.
I have a few major complaints: 1) Battery life - my previous Samsung had an awesome battery life - I could use it for days without having to charge it. This phone is lucky to last till the end of the work day. 2) The search button is uber-sensitive and placed where I am constantly touching it accidently, which pops up a bing screen. This is really annoying!! 3) The phone freezes and loses data at least a couple times a week. I have gotten text messages that display across the top, and the screen would freeze to the point I'd have to remove the battery. Then when restarted the text message was not in the list at all. 4) I would like a little more control over the home screen - I don't like the constant flashing of the screens - photo, name, news - and would love to have an option to turn that feature off. Plus, I'm sure that's part of the battery issue. 5) I think the aps are limited - I couldn't find some standard games - Scrabble, Yahtzee - so had to get knock-off versions. 6) Lack of accessories - cannot find a case I like - there are no otterbox or similar type cases available to fit - only wallet style.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

i am a big android fan, so when i got my hands on a focus, focus flash and focus s, i had low expectations. however, i was quite impressed. i'm not going to get into windows phone here, but, the flash itself is a great device. the screen is amazing, camera is great, and it's all packaged in a balanced sleek device.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!
