It's noisy

they mention no where that whenever the oven is on there is a fan that runs (NOT the convection fan) to cool the 'parts' of the range - this is a loud fan so forget the quiet cup of coffee while the roast is in the oven. Oh, and this fan doesn't vent up from the rear of the cooktop, it vents straight out right above the oven door hitting your midsection as you try to cook on the stove top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Look

Nice sleek look with my new kitchen and cooks wonderfully. Love the timed bake feature that shuts off the oven automatically. Easy to clean top as well. However, Frigidaire needs to look into the engineering of the back of the stove. You sell an "accessory" to close the gap between the range top and the wall when you know full well the stove will never go back all the way. Therefore the trim kit should be included with the stove. AND I had to have my granite countertops notched as instructed in the manual, but would not have had to notch quite as deep if I had known this would not solve the gap problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything is fine except the door ...springs closed very hard.
In the past, when I bought new appliances, I also received a broiler pan, this oven did not have one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The small things matter....

Functionally the oven works great.
However, there is a major design flaw on the front panel. The piece of rubber between the grates and the control panel is a crumb magnet and impossible to keep clean. I often have to take the vacuum crevice cleaner to it in order to get the food particles out.
Additionally, the frame of the panel is a cheap plastic that chips.
In the end the silver on the pace of the control panel is a scratch attractor.
All in all, after one year of daily, family use the front of my oven looks terrible.

Not real happy with this range.

We bought this range 3 years ago when we remodeled our kichen. We looked far and wide for a slide in range that would serve our needs. When we found this one, we thought we had found exactly what we wanted. Sad to say, it has not lived up to it's name. The top is impossible to clean even when cleaned daily. We have tried many products, none of which have made a dent in cleaning it. The cook top is out of balance with the oven. When one is balanced, the other isn't. When the oven fan is running (either when the oven is on or cooling down) the cooktop vibrates loudly. Now the oven will not turn on, which we believe is due to a defective ignitor. We are very dissapointed with this range and remember when frigidaire products were considered top of the line. We are sorry that we made this purchase.

Not Happy At All

I loved my other Frigidaire, but not the case this time. I called the place where I bought my stove because the burner valves on one side of the stove are set higher then the other side, only to be told this is a cosmetic issue and not covered under warranty. Not cosmetic, it's a manufacturer defect as far as I'm concerned. There are some other smaller issues I could deal with but looking at these knobs every time I cook is really frustrating.

So hard to keep clean

I bought this over 4 years ago and though it works ok, except extremely difficult to get a low flame on either burner except the tiny one in the back. The worst is trying to keep the black top clean, I clean my stove top every night after dinner and by the time I'm going to bed I notice dust and tiny particles on the black. Also the rubber strip between the grates and the control collects crumbs and truly is impossible to clean, it always looks like there are crumbs stuck in my stove. Don't see the point of the rubber strip to begin with.

Frigidaire Range Review Stame

I love the function of the gas range but it is very hard to keep clean. The crumbs are hard to get out of the sunken in design. Also crumbs fall into the cracks of the range and you can't get them out. I like the range otherwise. I am just use to a flat top range.
