i bought this a month ago and ice is forming in freezer and it makes funny noises. Also sealing seems to be pulled away from the door. Wondering if I hit a return?

Very disappointed!

I bought model FFHT1831QQ last Spring and have not been happy with it at all. Cracked handle on fridge door. Had something replaced in freezer in the back because it was noisy and I guess they're replacing it again. Seals on freezer and fridge is worhless, dont seal good and you have to be right behind the door to close it, or it won't close.

Poor Freezer

I bought this Refrigerator some time back and have never been satisfied by the function of the freezer and it's inability to make ice with the ice maker to any need. It's to slow and never has been up to speed. It won't keep ice cream firm either. After my initial purchase I had two technicians look at the problem and they were told that energy saving technology kept it from getting as cold as would be needed to keep ice cream firm and the ice maker from working correctly. ( This information was from the factory Techs.) So I've just been placed in a you bought it you have to live with it position. I never would have purchased this Refrigerator had I been aware of this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Harley 45, I am sorry that you have encountered this frustration with your refrigerator. Some items to check that impact slow ice production, include: Make sure the water valve going to the refrigerator is open fully. Check the freezer temperature, it should be between 5 and -2 degrees (sometimes dropping the temp will increase ice production). Water pressure is a factor that can’t be ignored either, it has to be between 30-100 PSI. Ice cream composition plays a role in its tendency to freeze; ice creams with higher water content may freeze at warmer temperatures than those with higher fat and sugar content. I would suggest storing your frozen goodies in the rear of the freezer compartment on the bottom (cold air sinks) where there is less air flow. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to put into a mother in law suite of our new home. It has the right amount of space for a single person who cooks ALL of her meals with fresh ingredients, as well as fresh nuts, fruit and ingredients for baking. Which also means it would be good for a small family.
The only down side is that i can hear it. Not loudly - but there is sound - which my other fridge does not have.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After having the same refrigerator for over 23 years, it is a pleasure to have a new frig. It is well lit and there is ample room to store all my groceries. I like the warning feature beep if door is ajar for too long. All in all, I am very satisfied.

shelving is great

I have had this refrigerator for approx a month and have been very pleased with it. Like the shelving which are more open than most refrigerators. Can store more items and everything is easily accessable. Did have a problem with the ice maker installation due to the fact that this refrigerator does not come with the internal parts installed and the delivery guys did not know how to do this.
I would recommend this to a friend!
