Control knob safety hazard!

We've been using this product for just over a year and have noticed that the springs within the control knobs are not strong enough to push them out to the lock position. I have to pull them out. This creates a life safety hazard in that the control knob can be turned without depressing it which can release gas into the area around it. This has happened in my house several times. Fortunately we discovered the gas leak prior to an explosion event. Otherwise a very good product that always turns on when demanded and provides an extremely good heat pattern. I wish there was some way of informing you prior to posting this in a review.

Great cooktop. I love the metal knobs

I bought this about a month ago, and I am loving it. Love the fact that the knobbs are metal. Works perfectly. Easy to clean. Comes with a napkin and stainless steel cleaner
I would recommend this to a friend!
