Decent for the money

Dell should give a home charger adapter along with the package. I found it strange that the device came with only a car charger.
What's great about it: great touch screen speed , quick satellite pick up, quick re-routing. Charging is on the mount not on the device. My magellan GPS device is now useless, as the charging port got damaged. Hopefully this wont be an issue on the c 340
What's not so great: Does not give the entire route or " direction plan" for viewing. I have a magellan gps 700 roadmate, which makes it possible to view the entire route. Can be a minus sometimes as you may know a better alternate route. Comes with default Kansas home address, which can be annoying at times, if you are not careful to set your POI to center around your home address.

Best Overall Valued GPS with Text to Speech

What's great about it: Text to Speech...A Huge Benefit...Makes Driving a Lot Easier Built in America and Canada Maps (no need to spend extra for SD Card) Pretty good GPS reception A Very Good Value for Money c340 model is not new so most of the bugs have been fixed. Very easy to use...no need to connect to computer...works right off the box.
What's not so great: Too Big to fit even in Jacket Pocket. No Wall Charger Less Features compared to TomTom (example No "Avoid Part of the Route" feature") No Bag or anything to carry the GPS ( will cost me extra to buy a small bag)
I would recommend this to a friend!

After showing this unit to my friends, two of them decided to buy the Street Pilot c340.
What's great about it: This unit has a user friendly touch screen that makes it a pleasure to use. The menus are efficient and effective.
What's not so great: No significant complaints.

Never Leave Home Without It.

This product has given me the power to just put in my destination and head for the hills. I love it!!! My son brought one first and when I borrowed his I fell in love. I had to have my own. Two thumbs up to Garwin's StreetPilot.
What's great about it: Guides you to your destination with ease. Clear cut voice directions. This product is worth every penny I paid for it. If you make a mistake it quickly reroutes you. I call my family the Griswalds because we always get lost everytime we go various unknown places. With this system I feel free to even travel alone without fear of getting lost and having to ask a stranger.
What's not so great: None for me.

worth the money

i have no regrets. this makes getting around a new city more of an adventure. i was deciding between this and a cheaper model; i'm glad i bit the bullet and paid the extra $100. it is worth it to have a device that reads street names aloud.
What's great about it: easy to set-up, easy to mount, great resolution, just plain great!
What's not so great: sometimes, there is a slight delay in the verbal instructions telling you where to make your next turn. the machine will announce your turn several times before it comes, but sometimes right before you need to do something, the command comes a little late (but you can always glance at the screen)
