This fridge looks nice, but if I had it to do all over again, I would have chosen something else. There is really not ample room for tall items such as soft drinks & milk in the fridge section. I also don't like that the freezer doesn't have a lot of space to put items that you don't want cross-contaminated. There is a little drawer, but a gallong of ice cream does not fit it in, so you have to store it next to the frozen meat or whatever. The other problem is the noise. It makes all kinds of noises!! Hums, whirls, clunks...you name it.

Overloading the freezer causes major frost buildup. Be careful.

Bottom freezer is an absolute wonderful feature of this refrigerator. However I would like to have a larger basket container without the back cutout. I also like the dual compartment temperature controls location placed in the upper area of the refrigerator. Lots more convenient than 2002 model owned previously.

I have this model for almost a month. It was an excellent choice for my space. It looks good with other GE appliances. It's not as spacious as the last one that I had but it works for us. I do not have any noise issues. I had to move one of the door shelves to accommodate tall pitcher but other than that, I'm satisfied.

Nice size but uneven temperatures

We like the size and style of this refrigerator, but we have been having major problems with the temperatures since we received it 2 months ago. Our produce (in the produce drawers) constantly freezes solid, while the thermometer we have on the upper shelf of the fridge indicates the temperature is 45 degrees. We have to keep the fridge set at 3 and the freezer at 4 to keep the food on the lower shelves from freezing. This is a major problem, as we are trying to balance keeping food fresh and unfrozen - we have had to throw a lot of food away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
