Most convenient refrigerator

My mother had a bottom freezer refrigerator in the late 50's-early 60's. As a 12-14 year old the bottom freezer was very easy to get to & the top refrigerator was so convenient to see everything. As an adult, I love the top refrigerator. I'm almost 6' tall & it's very back breaking to view everything in a bottom refrigerator all the time. I'm so glad GE chose to make the bottom freezer. GE has always been an excellent product.

Keeps stuff cold!

And saved me money on my electric bill each month. The first month was only $15 but a seal was not sealing so air was leaking in and out. I called the repair guy and he fixed it. We'll see what next month brings. I love G.E. I have their stove too.

I bought this Two months ago,works perfect and looks Amaizing .The freezer opens like a door,it was my choice because is easier to clean then drawers .

A little too durable

Excellent storage. Sleek design. My only complaint is the seal is very, VERY tight! I've found myself having to do a double pump or hold the body of the fridge steady to open the door on occasion. So tight can shift or move the entire fridge, by the door handle (and still the door doesn't open.) I've convinced myself this super strong seal prolongs the life of my food.
The door also does not stay open, even when extended fully. You definitely need an extra set of hands to hold the door open if transferring a large dish to the fridge.
The freezer door was a bit awkward at first. The horizontal handle bar appears like a drawer yet it opens on the side as the refrigerator door.
I'm not used to the freezer
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a nice fridge, however the door-stopper doesn't work. I feel like every-time i open the fridge, the door might swing open and break.
