Purchased severall months ago. Like being able to see the food in the refrige part. Food being at eye level helps having food items get "lost". The ice maker in the bottom is also easier for us. Because of the basket for freexer items, it does take rumaging to find items but since i use the refrige paert more, the trade off is worth it. No problems with the unit to date and the installation went smoothly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After just 7 years, it died. The one I had before this one lasted 30 years.

Seems pretty energy efficient. Wish they still made bottom doors with shelves instead of a drawer. Holds much less.

Freezer bins smaller than I expected.

Bought this "sight unseen". Freezer could have been larger. This is our first "bottom freezer" & we do like it.

Single door on top, lots of space, easy to arrange

My old refrigerator died so I had to search for another. I wanted a little more space and ease of reaching for items in the refrigerator section. I opted for the single door on top and pull out door for the bottom freezer which allows for ease of seeing what's in your freezer. It did come with a ice maker but you have to open the freezer to access it. So far, it seems to be running fine. I do see where the sliding door could become a problem down the road, due to use and sagging. The upper door can get weighted down if there is too much weight put in it.
