Works wll but doesn't hold as much

I like the fridge top, bottom freezer but it doesn't seem to hold as much as a regular fridge. Freezer seems much smaller but maybe because of the drawers and ice maker. Cannot accommodate all the shelves in the door and get good height. More options for adjustment would help. Looks good.

Better Than a French Door

I originally bought a different model French door with the freezer on the bottom. It turned out to be defective. My replacement was this GE model and I'm so glad I got it. Easy to get at the things you need most and more room in my opinion. The freezer just has a full size basket and one small slide out door but it more than adequate for my needs.

plain vanilla fridge

This new refrigerator came with my new house. It has a bottom freezer—very convenient. The door is full of space to put jars, cartons, and bottles. I moved the door from opening on the right—and thus blocking my access to the kitchen until I close it—to opening on the left. Now I realize I cannot open the door more than 90°, and so cannot pull out the right hand vegetable and egg drawers. I will have to pull the refrigerator about 6" away from a wall, so the door can open wider.
I hate the ice-maker noise!

Quiet and Surprisingly Spacious

We needed a new fridge but didn't have space for a side-by-side or french door model because our kitchen is original to our 70s beach bungalow. This fridge fit beautifully and has a surprising amount of space. Plus, as we are no longer young, having the fridge on top make access and cleaning easy for us. My only "problem"? The ice drawer doesn't push shut when you shut the freezer door.

It's quiet.

We were looking for a 18 cu ft to replace our 14 yr old unit, which started leaking refrigerant Not real happy the unit didn't last longer. We are in our 70's and don't care for the size of the newer units.

Overall I am happy with my new refrigerator. I had a width restriction so most new models were to wide. This one fit my space and because it is deeper, I didn't lose as many cubic feet. I do wish the shelves were all split and the freezer basket was deeper.
