Waste of money

Eats batteries. It was easy to use and made a nice label, but any battery left inside will be dead the next time you try to use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful label printer

The Brother PT-D200 is a quality label maker for 1/2" tape. It has an immense amount of features, honestly almost too many to use intuitively. I find myself having to consult the manual frequently to achieve the desired outcome. That's the reason why I did not rate it 5/5 stars - its menus could be organized more logically. Nevertheless I can recommend it for everyday users. Price is right, and Brother finally makes tapes that are easy to separate from the backing - that was a challenge in my old Brother label maker.

This is so easy to use. Just by reading the instructions I was able to understand how to use it. And of course, playing with it has been lots of fun.
