Intelligent Auto Overexposed
on February 24, 2015

Battery does not last long at all, particularly filming underwater. Keeps dying and shutting down. 'Intelligent Auto' feature always leaves shots overexposed and washed out. For this reason I find Exposure Settings need to be adjusted manually to just below 'O' to maintain a correct colour exposure. Cannot use Panorama underwater. Find it difficult to locate items in the menu system, i.e. knowing what branch to look in. Overall I am a bit disappointed in the picture quality as it seems to be on par with another much more cheaper underwater camera that I have. Expected better from Sony.
Pros: Features
Cons: Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great underwater camera

A fun and reasonably priced underwater camera that captures special shots to take home. Mine's the turquoise which is great on a sunny day in the ocean. You do need a lanyard so you can swim too.
And you have to be aware of the playback button just below the thumb indentation as it can easily flick off the camera to see your previous shots simply by a light pressure on it. The take photo button in on the top .
Pros: Value for Money, Durability, Features
Cons: Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Was flooded almost immediately after being submerged in water. I had checked that the battery/card compartment was properly closed and followed the instructions.
Can't give less than one star rating.
Cons: Quality, Durability

Poor battery performance
on January 14, 2015

After around 30-40 shots with a few flashes used and a couple of short videos, battery runs flat. Sometimes even after fully charged the battery icon with immediately state 3/4 bars. Definitely a entry level camera and after reading other reviews about this camera's poor performance underwater, I would not even use it under water. Now i have a WATER RESIST camera with substandard battery life.
Pros: Ease of Use
Cons: Durability
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
