Nice design

Looks nice, thin, and light weight. One thing bothers me is that it doesn't have migrating software for Mac. I bought this to replace my HD in my Mac laptop and I had to use carbon copy cloner to clone the drive. Should have software for both Mac and PC.
Pros: Lightweight, slim
Cons: no software for mac
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast drive, but problems with using as a Boot drive

I've bought three of these and find they are very fast to install Windows 7 - 64 bit on, right out of the box. However I frequently get Disk Read Errors during boot up. Once it does start it's very stable and loading programs and files is very, very fast. A good drive, but I'm not finding much help in resolving the Disk Read Errors on startup.
System Config: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1 ASUS M5A99FX R2.0 mobo 32 GB GSKILL 2133 dual channel (4 x 8GB) RAID 5 of 3 3TB Seagate HDD AMD 6300 6 core Vishera at stock CPU speed Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6670 Ultimate 1GB GDDR5
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

840 250gb ssd MZ-7TD250KW Magican rapid mode N/A

I RMA a intel 330 180gb ssd. When waiting for the new SSD From Intel I saw this on sale, so I got it and sold The 330 to a friend. The Samsung has a much slower write speed but the read is about the same. The Samsung magician software is a little better the Intel Tool Box software. It was easy to clone over from my OEM spare drive with the Samsung clone software. I wish and hope Samsung magician soon well soon let us enable the rapid mode for the none EVO Drives, they could do it because it only software that uses your system memory for a cache.
