One solid piece of furniture. Would be nice if you could order more shelves. right now I have this very large well built cabinet with 2 shelves in it. Need to build some wooden shelves inside so it is more useful.

Design Flaw or Poor Assembly

There are magnetic strips inside the top and bottom rails of the door frame. They are intended to hold the cabinet doors closed. They only stick in place with some glue on the backside of the strip, so in reality, opening the door pulls the magnets loose from their place. There are a few screws behind them, that keep the glue from providing a firm hold. If you open both doors at the same time, the magnet comes with them, forcing you to replace the magnet each time. For a pre-built cabinet, I was hoping for a better product.

I just finished assembling my forth Gladiator Premier Jumbo Cabinet. I have to admit that assembly time improved radially after the first cabinet was assembled. I am so impressed with the engineering and materials in this kit, not to mention the engineering that went into the packaging. Very impressed overall.

Bought this for "light" garage storage and it well meets the expectations. The locker is sturdy and the assembly is very straightforward. I am pleased with the locker and glad I purchased it. Don't expect the locking mechanism to prevent folks from getting into the locker, though. My five year old neighbor opened it (when it was locked) without the key. Otherwise, a terrific product.

GearLocker shortcomings

Packaged nicely and arrived in good condition. I am disappointed with height of the GearLocker, it is smaller than anticipated. I am also disappointed that it cannot be ordered without the Casters. I plan to hang the cabinet from the wall with the rest of my cabinets. Also the price seems high in comparison to the other tall cabinet iterations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Gear Locker

I bought this in addition to several cabinets & tool boxes after rebuilding our garage from a fire. All the Gladiator products are awesome, easy to assemble, easy to hang, and this cabinet was pretty much ready to go after installing casters. Will be ordering one more to store floor cleaner, carpet scrubber, and their detergents.
