Great functionality which holdsmany tools.

I bought this unit 4 to 5 years ago with a 6 foot and 4 foot workbench, 4 wall cabinets and 2 of the pre-assembled modular storage units. I am impressed with these units but my gear drawer unit has the powder coat finish popping off and the drawers won't stay closed. In order to keep the drawers closed the unit was locked to keep the drawers closed and now the lock is defective. I had to place small blocks of wood under the front casters to raise the front higher than the back of the unit for the drawers to stay closed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Drawers won't stay closed.

We love our tool cabinets, but after a couple years the drawers won't stay closed. Not sure how to fix this. The instructions give no hints.

Let the Buyer Beware

I just waited a month for delivery of two of these. My confidence in the product began to drop upon unloading the units, when I saw a half dozen ball bearings in the bed of my pickup. Unpacking them, I found a couple drawer fronts marred. Several drawers looked very misaligned, and most would not open due to interference with others. Due to the long delivery wait, I decided to spend the next two hours removing the drawers to correct the mis-installed glides marked "Made in Korea." These were not locked into the thin-gage cabinet sides, which were sprung out of shape, apparently during the manufacturing attempt. Holes punched for fasteners had no screws. Security lock "spine" in back of cabinet is bent forward at bottom and prevents bottom drawer from fully closing. Rubber work-surface pad was also missing from one package. Same as with another reviewer, these were purchased to match an existing garage ensemble, and the decline in quality and durability is a major disappointment. I hope they hold up. Heck of a way to treat a returning customer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My First Gladiator Product

This and my workbench were the first Gladiator products I purchased years ago. Probably the most used cabinet in my garage. Wheels are heavy duty and move very easily. I also purchased the wood top. Fits nicely underneath the workbench. Somehow I knocked the Gladiator label off. I used pop rivets to fill up the holes.

The five drawers will hold just about anything small you need to store. I like the look but had some challenges getting the unit to level. Might have been just one of those that got bumped around in shipping. The unit is still very functional but has a slight wobble so I can't use it as a steady platform for projects. Good thing I have two other Gladiator storage units that are level.

I recently moved into a new house and found I had no work bench! With no workbench, and no place for my tools I turned to these Modular GearDrawer cabinets. I now have ample tool and workshop storage. I love the fact that the cabinets are now a mobile work table. The only place where I wish an improvement is that I have found that the drawers tend to slide open if you move the cabinet with the drawers unlocked.
