Like the sealed burners.

We downsized from an older, black 5 burner cooktop to this 4 burner when we got new countertops. This one is nice if you've never had a larger 5 burner! Also disappointed at how easily this one scratches. Only been in about 6 months & it's already pretty marked up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was moving into a new place and having to buy several appliances. Stove top was not one where I wanted to buy top of the line, but wanted something that worked well. I was converting from electric stove to gas. I don't cook a tremendous amount, but want a stove top with a wide variety of heat ranges (high heat and very low heat). I have been extremely happy with this stove top. It works flawlessly (no starter clicking at low levels of heat like some stove tops) and is easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A big improvement over the original model repaced

The original would never ignite the power burner on the front left. No one was ever able to get it to run. We bought the home new two years before we moved in so the original warranty was useless. This one worked from the beginning.

Love my Whirlpool cooktop, replaced my older Whirlpool one after 15 years, not because it didn't work well, but to update my kitchen. Performs wonderfully, and looks great. I am a happy cook.

stove top do not lite without turbine knob several times. the Ironton scratches the silver top. Small pots will not sit on the slots, constantly falling over.

I love the new stove top. I switched to gas and love it. I cooks much fast then electric. All my kids cook with gas and thought I would try it and I cold be more pleased with it.

Great Economical Choice

We purchased this about 8 months ago and like it very much. We have the bisque/dark brown grates one. It functions very well and the only thing that I would change on it is the placement of the simmer burner, move it from the front right to the back left. Boils water fast and great for using a grill pan!

We had to replace our old electric cook top after a burner blew out. We love the look of the new cooktop and it works great too. The different size burners are really helpful.
