Excellent phone battery could last a bit longer

The only thing that I could come up with is that the battery, being how I use it, will not last longer than 16 hours. I do like using it and have been vesting into using S Health and realizing how unhealthy that I actually am, may change my mind because of that. It is a great product and would recommend it to just about anyone. Being that it is not currently the newest and greatest thing drops down the price enough to make the price tag tolerable with most carriers.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

A very nice innovation of technology...but some flaws as well.

The Galaxy S5 is a really great phone and shows off it's power and how amazing the android OS is. It has a great battery life and it holds up nice, the ultra power saving mode is nice but the features are bad. You can scroll through twitter but yo cant play music or access your gps, when you need too. The camera take a while to load up and is laggy at times. They're also lag spots when yo use GPS, it won't exit completely when you need it to. The rear camera sticks out to far and is easily scratched and the glass cover can be cracked easily. The USB 3.0 is a nice add on as well. Making the entire phone waterproof is really nice especially if you're accident prone. The little cover on the bottom to keep dirt, lint, and water and other stuff you don't want in their out. The cover gets in the way when you're trying to charge and is easy to break its really cheap and could of been better. nano coating would of been the best route to go. Touch Wiz is really nice and the resolution is really nice as well, watching movies on it is very nice with its 1080p AMOLEDscreen. It;s highly responsive but gets moody at times. The built in heart rate meter is nice and s health is a nice thing to have if you're big in health. (Get it S Health?!). it tells you calorie intakes from salads to tequila shots. Camera takes nice pictures, and has nice recording too. The IR blaster is nice to have and is more useful then you care to think. The UI is nice and clean, and simple and smooth, the settings have all been rearranged in categories and a quick search button is their to help you find stuff. The downsides is that its very hard to slide your finger down over the sensor to open your phone when you only have one hand available do to the size of the phone. It is very picky about how you slide your finger, it must be pretty close to straight up and down to work. The external memory can be expanded to 128gb which is incredible. And even though Google has more control over it then Samsung they should do something about U.S carries encrypting the locked boot loaders which doesn't matter for your every day person, but matters for people who like to experiment with Androids Open source OS. And explore all the wonders that Android OS can do, such as boot up custom ROMS and tinker with Kernels. The phone is truly amazing and blows it's competitors out of the water in all aspect except the durability of the phone (what is actually phone case is made out of) and minut features and preferences.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast and smooth, battery life
Cons: Poor quality, laggy camera, awkward placement of camera, picky fingerprint lock, locked boot loaders on some models
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great phone

I'd like to start by saying that I love the phone. I added the OEM inductive charging cover so I can minimize how often I open the USB cover. However, the few flaws the phone that the phone does have really cast a shadow over what is otherwise a great phone.
The biggest problem is the speaker placement. It's on the bottom, meaning that sound is muffled when the phone is held or sitting on a desktop. No excuse for this one.
The second big problem is the USB charging port. The fact that it's 3.0 is great. The problem is opening the port. While I haven't seen any broken port covers, it worries me. What concerns me the most is the potential loss of the waterproof seal if the port cover is damaged. Seriously, I don't understand why the port wasn't sealed from the phones internals.
Other than these two issues, the phone is great. If I had to suggest other changes, I would like to see the fingerprint scanner capable of being used with disk encryption.
Overall, this is a very good phone and I love the removable battery. I carry a spare for emergencies.
This phone could be so great, it's got all the good hardware and performance ratings I wanted in a new phone however ATT ruined it with bloatware, slow updates, updates that keep adding more and more unwanted app's and a locked bootloader so you can't even change to other Roms to get a faster cleaner phone. I regret buying this variant of the galaxy s5. I already switched to T-Mobile since I got the phone unlocked but I'm still sick with ATT's terrible support for product updates. My Galaxy S3 with lollipop was a more enjoyable phone to use! The update they do still have errors and cause the battery to drain fast so they can't claim to take their time because they want to get it perfect.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: att bloatware, locked bootloader, lack of software updates
