I entered the S5 club on October 24, 2014 and I can't even remember how i would have managed life without my S5.
The 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU is wicked fast, I haven't had the phone even lag on me yet.
The massive 2 GB of RAM helps a lot with multi tasking, The multi-window feature is great!
The phone is IP67 certified so it'll be dust resistant and water resistant up to 1 meter and be able to be submerged for 30 minutes.
The 5.1 Super AMOLED screen is fantastic and is protected by Gorilla Glass so it will take a beating before caving in to daily use.
The Rear 16 MP camera is amazing, my S5 has completely replaced my digital camera (which was an old FujiFilm FinePx Z) The camera does have a little trouble in low light conditions but the built in flash eases that probem.
Phone also supports memory extension via micro SD cards, that is a godsend, I now have a 144 GB S5 (16 GB internal capacity + SanDisk Ultra 128GB MicroSDXC)
The S5 is packed with other nifty features such as: A built in IR blaster to control any device that uses an IR remote (Tvs, set top boxes, fans, game consoles, etc.), a finger print scanner (although I wish it was like the Iphone scanner which is just touch and go, with the S5 you gotta slide your finger down,) and a heart rate monitor, which is great when I'm on a run, pair it with an app called Zombies, Run! and you'll shed those calories in record time!
10/10 would recommend to all friends and family.

Cons: finger print scanner requires you to slide finger.

The S5 is a great improvement in the Galaxy line. From features to performance. I give it to Samsung cause they try to keep the innovation going. I don't use all the features but it is nice to know they don't just push out a new phone with nothing new to it.
Pros: Bright display

The S5 Camera Rocks !!!!

Am so glad that Samsung finally recognized the limitations of the camera from previous versions of this device. In low Light they still actually face some challenges but in terms of the new focus and sharpness and clarity it is literally night and day compared to the S3 and S4 models. Pretty cool device, am very happy with it so far, battery life actually seems better as well but then again I am not a super heavy mobile device user but overall am very pleased. Definitely would recommend it.

I phone versus Galaxy

i have only had this phone for a few weeks now, and i had an I phone prior to this. i was told i would not like this phone and it was too difficult to work compared to the I phone. this phone was a piece of cake and within a couple of hours i had mastered the apps etc. some i don't use but most i do and they make using the phone so easy. the people who told me how hard it would be are now looking at making the switch to the Galaxy S5. they see the convenience and ability it has. i have an occasional slow down in the touch screen but other than that this phone is perfect. as for Photo's this is the best phone ever, i had to send the same picture i took that someone else too with their I phone because they liked my picture clarity much better.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great performance... but the lcd screen is very fragile... Had phone for 5 months then cracked lcd screen, but not the glass screen.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

Just the best dang phone I have ever had

I found this phone to be the best one I have ever had. Once I learned the basics it was easy. The phone has more than enough apps for me to utilize. the only draw back I see and it really is NOT a draw back is that it could use a bigger processor or more memory to speed it up a little when you are doing things.
Overall the phone is great
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, bluetooth is great
