Great device with plenty of features

The S5 is a great device for the everyday smartphone user wanting the newest features and tech combined with top of the line performance. The performance of the device is excellent and the new touchwiz user interface is a welcome change. There are some features that take a little getting used to (fingerprint reader for example) but once mastered become useful everyday enhancements to the device. Not every user will find value in every feature but there is something for everyone with this device. Not enough can be said about the performance of this phone. With the new snapdragon processor there is no lag on this device whether in the touchwiz operating system or within any applications that I have come across. It runs exceptionally smooth and the battery life is much improved over any of the last 3 Samsung devices I have owned.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

Great smartphone. Lightweight and good looking. Beautiful vivid display and fast processor. Only drawback on this version is the locked bootloader. Overall, well worth it.

My Wonderful New Samsung S5

I love this new phone!!! I had a previous version of it and this one goes way beyond that. I use the camera on the phone a lot and this one is twice the pixels of my old one and that one took great shots. I take pictures at the concerts of my favorite band and there's an option for the camera that lets you take a photo and include 9 seconds of music with it, or to have one section of it move while the rest stays solid! This is amazing to me! I enjoy all the other features I've discovered for the camera and the phone and I know there are more to come. It's got plenty of game power and lets me play for hours. The Galaxy Essentials and Gifts that come with it are phenominal and it charges very fast. I love that it's water resistant. I got one for my son the same day I got mine and he works in a restaraunt and got his old phone wet from time to time. This will be a good feature for him to have. I can't recommend this phone strongly enough and have already told some friends about it. I can't think of anything I don't like, not a single thing.

Love This Phone!!

I had the iPhone3 and the iPhone4. I decided to go with the Samsung Galaxy S5 just for the bigger screen but I got sooooooo much more. The display, the camera and the ease of use.
My husband has the Galaxy S3 and he can hardly wait for his upgrade!

Right out of the box the look and feel of the S5 is what I've come to expect of the galaxy line.

...and although there isn't a mind-blowing difference between the two models, I love the total concept and design. Some have scolded Samsung for not making a "sexier" metal frame, but I feel the plastic case is more than adequate. I love the quality, design and innovation put into this phone.

I've had this this phone for about a close to a month now and I have to say I'm surprised...this phone has lots of features my old iphone didn't have, I love the large screen and all the features. I'm still getting to know how the phone works but so far it's a keeper Before this I had an Iphone 4S which kept dying on me and wouldn't keep a charge and I won't miss it.
