Charging port cover weakness

I can't believe this product was released with a flimsy waterproof cover. The hinge that holds it on is made of rubber and will not last more than 3-6 months. It is a serious design flaw. Mine broke already. Without the hinge, the cover gets easily lost. This will become apparent to every GS5 owner soon!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: charging port cover

This is the first genuine "smart phone" I've owned. The convenience factor alone makes this a more than worthwhile acquisition. It truly is like having a small computer, allowing me to do nearly everything I would be doing on a regular computer. I've only begun to explore the many possibilities available on this phone. The camera is excellent. Still shots & videos are of high quality. Transferring photos to another NFC enabled phone is a snap. I really couldn't ask for much more . A well designed product.

Great Phone But TouchWiz is Bad

I love this phone the camera is awesome the fell in the hand is awesome and this phone would be perfect if it weren't for TouchWiz. The phone has 2GB of RAM but only 700MB is available to use because TouchWiz uses so much RAM for some reason. I even cleared up all the unnecessary things that I don't need and I can't even get 1GB out of it.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, great camera, fingerprint sensor
Cons: touchwiz, lag

This is by far the best phone I have ever owned. It is the 1st android phone but I really love it I have had no problems with the phone, other than the screen cracked in my pocket but I had no case and I am a mechanic so I'm rough with phones, and the forward facing camera is not a good picture taking camera. The rear facing camera is phenomenal I love it, I love out doors and it takes awesome pictures. The battery life is great as well, incredible phone

The S5 is useful

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is useful but has some quirks about it. The software needs tweeking to accomodate existing features more easily. As for recommending it, I would withhold my view and say to a perspective purchaser to do their DD. In speaking with others a number have hailed the Iphone over the S5 so it really comes down to a matter of choice.
I have like the android system since it came out and now that I am used to it, it simulates more of the computer skills I have over Apple which I have stayed away from for years.
The product is great but it is not for everybody. I have had this one for almost 3 weeks and still learning about features. Samsung should have a recommendation page for users to give input on how the phone works so they can modify the OS and make life simpler.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, versatile
Cons: a bit bulky
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
