I have nothing but praise for this itteration of the Galaxy S series phones.
The touch scren is precise, the images and colors are better than a screen this size should be able to display and the big screen is wonderful.
The ability to switch between apps quickly and easily with just a single button is a great feature and last but not least, the phone actually gets great reception, is easy to hear and understand and be understood.
And an important thing is that I can go multiple days on a single charge. I love this phone!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, waterproof (to a point)., great battery life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I switched from an iPhone and I love it! Perfect if you are active or want to become active!

The Samsung galaxy 5 is the best phone I've ever had, and have got a few friends to switch to a Samsung Galaxy s5. They really enjoy it also.

In general, people don't like the new plastic case with it's ridged edges, personally, I think this design gives the phone a design that fits it's intended purpose to be able to withstand dust and water damage.
Especially with the S Cover case, the phone gives an aura of maturity even when withstanding amounts of water that most phones aren't capable of surviving. This case allows the phone to reveal its S View feature which allows the user to answer calls, view texts, and see notifications even when their case is closed.
The charging port is a different usb3.0 (i think its usb3.0B) which allows for even faster charging and data transfer but is still compatible with regular usb3.0 chargers.
There are many other features that the phone offers that are all very unique and give the felling of freedom that an android phone should have.

I upgraded from the S4 which was passed down to my son who destroyed his S3 through an unfortunate series of events. It has been about 4 months now and I am very pleased with the S5. The power of this device is apparent immediately. Zipping from app to app without any hesitation or delay and fully capable of running so many apps in the background that it's surprising when I tap the double box and start scrolling through the list.
But the one of the primary reasons I really dig this phone is Lark and S Health. In May, my doctor suggested I lose some weight to help with other health issues which were beginning to present themselves. I started using Lark and S Health, and I'm 10 lbs lighter today, most likely due to just paying attention to my diet and walking with deliberation, i.e. taking the stairs instead of the elevator/escalator, parking further away from the entrance of the supermarket, etc. I have another appointment coming up, which afterwards I will actually start excercising, and my S5 will be right there with me, tracking and monitoring my progress. When I was a young, production supervisor, my mentor once told me, "If you're not keeping score, you're just practicing." Lark and S Health make it incredibly easy to keep score so that I will get healthy and stay healthy.

The Best Phone in the market

All my friends teased me when I had the I-phone ! I didn't see what the big deal was about the Galaxy phone, until we compared the GPS features I Since then, I was hooked, and had to get a Galaxy of my own,... There are no regrets and I haven't looked back since ! Love all the apps, and I'm very proud when I pull my phone out. Now I get to tease my other friends with their i-phones !

The Galaxy S 5 has some very innovative features, that I thought I would never use, I was wrong. The multi window, and screen mirroring are just two that I have been using a lot. The camera is amazing, it has too many features to write down here. The battery life is incredible. I love this phone.
