Survived my first year of college

This phone is wonderful, it's got a very smooth and simple OS and a lot of customization options in the settings. The multitasking is fast and very useful and it's powerful enough to run emulators so I can play games while I wait for class to start. However the best part of the phone for me is how durable it is, especially against water. I'm a very clumsy person and I have damaged quite a few phones be it forgetting its in my pocket before I swim or dropping it in the toilet. So this phone was my dream device, I find myself sending emails in the shower to save time and using it in the rain on the way to class. The water resistance really makes me worry a lot less about breaking another phone, and so far I've been able to keep it in great condition. I've also dropped it many times without it breaking. It's going to be hard to switch to another phone now that I've adapted so well to the S5.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, water resistant, very intuitive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful Phone

This is the first Galaxy I've had and it will be the last. The first issue is that it constantly calls people by itself. It even called 911 once. Secondly when I text, it will add a word I typed 4 or 5 times after I finished typing that word. A lot of times I can't even get a text to send. I got the phone near Christmas and the screen didn't make it through January. Even with an expensive case, also from Samsung, on it and the screen shattered after it fell off the counter once. I feel like I wasted money on the case and spent more money getting it fixed. No one can hear me when I talk on the phone. Everyone tells me it cuts out and they only hear parts of words. The problem isn't my carrier. Everyone else I know works just fine but I'm the only one who made the mistake of getting this horrible phone. To sum everything up: it makes a nice paper weight.
Pros: none
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although I'm considering buying the S7, I love my S5!! I passed on the S6 because it did not have external SD card slot or water/dust resistance. The S5 has both and still a very good device!
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, Not high def, Poor quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it,features are great, built in apps wonderful. Has it blaster, removable battery, expandable storage everything you need. Built well,to points off because dust cover for charging port is sturdy and falls off often requiring replacement everytime and the finger print scanner sucks, other then those 2 its the absolute perfect phone.
Pros: Durable, Inexpensive
Cons: fingerprint scanner, dust cover
I would recommend this to a friend!

The last great phone of that generation of school of thought

Back before unibody design became the norm, this was the best phone that had it all. Top end hardware specs, replaceable battery, removable storage, a great camera, fantastic screen and a finger print sensor. This phone even has light water resistance, which was one of the first at the time. This maniacal drive for the phone body to have a subjectively ultra premium feel is the reason why all major manufacturers stopped allowing you to replace or upgrade the battery.
