I upgraded from a GalaxyS5 to the new S7 edge and have only had it a couple of days and so far it's far superior to the S5, which I liked a lot. Some of the same features have been improved and the new features are really good.
The upgraded camera gives really sharp photos, also.

The S5 is a major improvement over the SIII. It is thinner, lighter and has more features.

Nice upgrade

I was happy with my Samsung GS 3 phone for the past three years. Recently, the lure of longer battery life, better camera and display, and additional features tempted me to try the GS 5.
After using the new phone for a month, I'm glad I upgraded. The GS 5 is a little wider to hold ( I have arthritis in my left hand), but I'm enjoying the nicer display. The textured back surface makes it easier to hold than the GS 3. I guess a phone case will be my next purchase; I'm procrastinating because the GS 5 feels so light and so comfortable to hold as is. It's handy that the Pacer app automatically logs my steps every day. I find the odd little recharging "door" awkward to use, but not a make-or-break issue. Without it the phone wouldn't be waterproof.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my Samsung Galaxy S5. It has just enough features to make using it a breeze but not complicated. Great colors, great sounds . . . have loved this phone.
The one drawback . . . my battery is starting to lose the memory charge and the screen sensitivity is starting to fade.
Pros: Lightweight, ease of use

Loved it so much had to get the S7. The S5 was sent to me as a replacement for the s4 through insurance program. Was waiting for the S7 which I now have. Just prefer Samsung over other brands. The design is just simply beautiful and sleek.
