Disappointed with Galaxy S5

I upgraded from an S3 to the S5 after encouragement from 2 friends who have Galaxy S5s. I did not want the S6 because of the price, inability to add memory and non-replaceable battery. However, the S5 does not seem like an improvement on the S3. The battery does not last very long, barely a day and I do not use the phone constantly. I read my mail, FB postings but make phone calls rarely. A problem I experienced with the S3 is still present in the S5. Sometimes, when I push the button to open the screen, the screen is too dark to really see. I then have to turn off the screen and turn it back on to bring it up to its brightness. Another problem I had with the S3 is not being able to use the screen during a phone call. that is, when the phone is dialing a number and I want to cancel the call, each time I try to press the screen, it goes black. This also happened with the S3 when I was on a call and had to press the keypad the screen would go black and I could not make the choice. VERY frustrating. Talking on the phone can be problematic. I usually use a bluetooth device because sometimes when I place the phone by my ear, it hits the screen and changes my settings.
All in all, the Galaxy is a better choice than an iPhone simply because I am used to an Android system. And I did have an HTC which I liked but the Samsung proved better suited to my needs.

Love my device is very easy to navigate, perfect size, great operating system, very fast and dependable through WIFI or through the network. All the Camera functioS are awesome very clear and dynamic radiant colors, a super device.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight

I think one of the only things I don't like about this phone is the fact that it could be just a little bit bigger, but over all, I love this phone. I love the fact that you're able to customize your ringtone. By signing in with my google account, I am able to access all my saved passwords on my computer along with all of my bookmarks from my computer. It's a smooth phone to use, and to get used to.

I like just about all the features of this phone. So far it have performed flawlessly . It is a good looking phone and has a ton of APPS that are useable. If I had to critique this phone it would be in the design of the Volume contorl and the Power button. They are almost directly across from each other. If you use one hand to turn the phone on or off you have a tendancy to also press the Volume Control simultaneously. So far that is the only thing I find that could be better designed.

Extremely light for its size

Pick up my S5 today and was impressed with its size and weight. It is the lightest phone I have ever seen. I love Samsung products and am more impresses with each new purchase. This phone was so easy to get up to speed on. Features allowed me to upload all my old contacts in a few moments.
