This has got to be one of the best phones I've owned. I started using Samsung flip phones for my first phones and they were durable and easy to use. I switched to iPhone when smartphones first came out and I liked the ease of linking my emails and other devices but there was little customization. I switched to the Galaxy S5 and I would never go back. I love the speed, the ease of use, the customization, the expandable memory. I really like the professional design and I LOVE that it is waterproof!! That has definitely been a great addition.
The only issues I have with it now are; the battery used to last just fine but after about a year, it doesn't make it through the day anymore without having to recharge it at least once. The other problem I have with it, (I am assuming is due to a recent update) is that it will freeze up and I have to restart it or remove the battery to get access back to the device. Once I restart it, it takes a long time to start up and once it does, it shows me my screen for about 30 seconds before it freezes and takes me back to the lock screen. After that it works just fine. Those would be my only issues.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: lagging, battery life

I have only had the phone for a couple days, but I love it, it's the perfect size and offers more then the iPhone in my opinion.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight

One thing I do not like about this phone is the fact that my text message notification plays in my ear during a phone call...even though I have the notification set on silent. Another thing I do not like is the fact that the camera sticks out to far. I dropped my phone just right and shattered the lense...even with the Otterbox cover on it. Finally, the charging port is for the birds. I know this seems like a lot, but overall eveything else works great. I have no other complaints or concerns.

This is my second 5. The first one had problems that I believe were not typical of the product. The camera on this is my favorite feature, it takes great pictures, although sometimes getting it to focus takes a bit.
Overall it is a great phone, they continue to improve the tools and the apps. I can't wait till I get a 6 or possibly the next new one!

I've been in love with the Galaxy line since the first one. My S3 was great but it was time for an upgrade and I decided on the 5 b/c it still has SD card capability. Great phone, powerful, excellent features, and of course reliability as always.

Hi, I've always loved my Galaxy phones!!!! Not too long ago a friend bought me an iPhone. I used it for a very short time. I didn't like it at all. The Galaxy phones have always been great, reliable phones. I love the look of them as well as all the features they come with already installed. I will continue to tell friends about my phone as well as using it! Galaxy 4 life!

I previously had a Samsung Galaxy sS3 that was stolen which was also a great phone, I replaced it with an S5, which is better still. Great screen, nice camera, love the finger print screen unlock. Still have lots to learn, but loving it.
