Much better than the S4

The internal workings are much more aesthetically pleasing, and finally we can see what people text us in the dropdown menu without having to actually go to the messages app! The fingerprint scanner is also great and saves time. One time I almost dropped my phone in the toilet, but I didn't, but it's nice to know that if I did it would be safe and good because of the waterproof casing.
The back camera is amazing quality, but the front camera is eh. There's also an element of distortion in the from camera and brightens skin even when not on the Beauty Face setting. It's not a big issue for me though because I don't take a ton of selfies anyways.
Another con is that there's a bunch of pre-installed apps on the phone, and most of them I will never use.
All in all there has been many improvements and the phone is great functionally.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, aesthetically pleasing
Cons: Not high def, a ton of pre-installed apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Samsung 5 is the original phone I was going to purchase but went cheap and simple since it was my first smart phone. But to my surprise the ease of use and the style was much better then I had anticipated. The camera I said amazing I have had tons of good comments on how nice the pictures look. Easy to down load and find apps. I will definitely be upgrading to the 6 soon.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable

While I prefer the Samsung over the "iphone I must admit I had a lot more satisfaction with the Samsung Galaxy 3
It seems there are too many "problems" with the 5 compared to the 3
While the 3 did weird things,the 5 also has its own glitches..An example or two is when using "phone" the keypad dissappears while talking.When call is complete by the time you hit key to get pad back up the call may or may not be dissconnected.So I always have to call myself to make sure call was "ended". A number of times I didnt and I could hear open line on phone.
As with the 3 although not as much the "sound" for some reason goes to mute when on phone..If I dont notice icon with line through it I wouldnt know the sound is muted.
Other than that,IM still trying to learn different things with the 5..Hopefully I will like it as much as I did the 3

Love the Galaxy S5. Had an S3 and loved it, but the 5 has a bigger screen and more features. Faster too! Battery life is better as well.

I had a iPhone before this one. I always had to go thru iTunes to do anything with that phone. This one is so easy to do anything with. The first day I had it I put new ring tones on it in 5 minutes or less. The only thing is the speakers are not that good but I still like the phone a lot.

Cons: bad sound quality

Everything works great. The only thing I would like to see different would be to have the buttons for on/off and volume one side lower. Have a tendency to push both at the same time. Other than that if is very functional.

My S5 has fantastic call quality. All the other features are icing on the cake. Fast. Great display. Superb camera. The camera blows me away. I chose the 5 over the 6 due to the ability to replace the battery, and having a SD slot. I'm glad I did. I love this phone!

the phone is a dynamite.
Battery is excellent with very heavy use(7-9 hours at least) and the new lollipop touchwiz is beautiful,useful and less laggy.
This phone has one of the best cameras out there but the selfie camera has problems.
Samsung multimedia,call and sound quality are very very good and it's a phone you can love only for its excellent and bright super amoled display.
