Love this phone. Even before I found out it's waterproof, now I love it even more. Awesome display. Awesome features. Beats the iPhone I traded in.

one of the reasons I don't like this s5 is it blacks out so fast.. the screen locks up so fast -- I have it on a minute but it take some times a second and sometimes 10 seconds. oh and the finger print scanner did not work more than half the time
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, it locks up to fast

I love my phone plain and simple. Camera has great resolution and numerous editing options. Not only do I have Google play, but I also have Samsung apps for choosing downloads. This gives me more to choose from. The sound quality in the ear piece, the speaker, and the Samsung ear buds (included with the S5) is great. Adding the screen clarity, I think this is the best phone I've ever had.

Galaxy S5 works for me

Ive had the galaxy s5 for two months now and its great so far. Im a frequent all day/heavy user for work and the phone holds up and does not slow down. A great improvement over the last generation. The battery is REMOVABLE/REPLACEABLE (s6 is not) and memory is EXPANDABLE (S6 no). 2gb of RAM is constantly swamped with my apps and frequent usage and ive experienced minimal lag. Upgraded to Lollipop without a problem.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, accessories, speed, reboot takes under a minute
Cons: battery life, price, nox, major bloatware

I love all Samsung products, and this smartphone is one of my favorites. I love the customization, the censor features, battery life, water resistants, and more. But sometimes the camera fails and apps also some times just stop working all together, I think you can definitely improve this. I saw it on the galaxys6 as well.
But when I started up geek bench to run its specs it was PHENOMENAL! So overall Samsung, I think you beat apple
